In times of trouble, we first turn to God's word, which says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
It is so important that we do not worry about the things that are happening in our lives. Instead, we should pray to God, asking Him for help, and thanking Him for the things that He has done for us. When we do this, God will give us a peace that we cannot understand. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can receive this peace and we can only approach God through Jesus. If you have not believed on Jesus Christ please do so now.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this person who needs Your peace. We know that You are a God of peace, and You desire for Your children to live in harmony with You and with each other. Lord, we ask that You would fill this person's heart with Your supernatural peace. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Guide them through whatever situation they are facing, and give them the strength and wisdom they need to overcome it. We rebuke any worry or distrust in Your sovereign power.
If they have not called on the name of Jesus to save them from their sins then convict them of their need for Jesus and help them call out to Jesus and be saved. We know that salvation comes by believing in Jesus Christ and Him crucified, buried, and resurrected.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
