Need God's Hand on my situation

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I'm asking for prayer for God to intervene in my situation with my friend. I don't feel like he is the one for me. We just been talking but my gut feeling says it's just not right. I tell him I will pray for him and he just says thank you but it's such a dry thank you. I keep praying about the situation but I feel I need more prayer. I need a hedge of protection that I have against this man, "I call him ###". My brother-in-law passed away in April and he has no feelings about that and continues to want to meet. My sister needs me. It's hard to explain my situation but God knows my situation.

We understand that you're seeking God's intervention in your situation with your friend. Firstly, we appreciate your openness and willingness to seek prayer. You mentioned feeling that he is not the one for you. That is a very sensitive matter. We hear that you are in a relationship that seems to lack spiritual connection and emotional support.

Let us remind you of what God's word says about relationships. God’s design for romantic relationships is courtship leading to marriage between a man and a woman. Second Corinthians 6:14 states, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? It is crucial to align with someone who shares your faith and values, as this will greatly impact your spiritual life and growth.

If you have a feeling that the relationship is not right, it is important to trust in God's guidance. Colossians 3:15 says, And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. God's peace can guide us in our decisions, and if you do not have peace about this relationship, it is a sign to reevaluate it.

You mentioned that you pray for him, but his response is dry. It is commendable that you are praying for him, but remember, Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. It’s important that whoever is in your life is also seeking God.

Regarding the passing of your brother-in-law and your sister needing you. This is a clear indication of where your priorities should be. Family is a blessing from God. God’s word says in First Timothy 5:8, But if anyone doesn’t provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith. It shows that God expects us to take care of our family.

It is also important to address that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and it is only through Him we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is seeking Your will in her relationship. Lord, we ask that You give her clear guidance and discernment. If this relationship is not Your will, we pray that You give her the strength to walk away and trust in Your plan for her life. Comfort her as she supports her ### during this difficult time, and help her to prioritize her family as You would have her do.

We also pray for her friend, that You would soften his heart and draw him to You. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would make that clear to both of them. Surround her with more prayer support.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We understand that you're feeling uncertain about your friendship and we want you to know that we're praying for you. It's great that you're seeking God's intervention, and we want to encourage you to trust in His guidance. Remember, God has a plan for your life and He wants the best for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, it says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He is working things out for your good.

We're also here for your sister. It's wonderful that you're supporting her during this difficult time. In Romans 12:15, we're encouraged to "rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn." Be there for her, and trust that God will give you the strength to do so.

We'll continue to pray for you both, that God will give you clarity, comfort, and strength. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
