First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved (Ephesians 2:13, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him as Lord. Without this, our prayers lack the authority of the One who holds all things in His hands.
Now, we stand with you in fervent prayer, declaring God’s sovereignty over your situation. Father, we ask that You go before our brother in this interview, that Your presence would fill the room and Your wisdom would overflow from his lips. Grant him clarity of mind to recall every detail truthfully, as You promise in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Let no word be twisted or misrepresented, but may the truth shine brightly, for You are the God of truth (John 14:6).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and confusion that may seek to paralyze him, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for the officers involved—that their hearts would be softened, their eyes opened to see with compassion, and their minds inclined toward justice and mercy. Lord, we ask that You restrain any unjust or harsh intentions, for You are the defender of the oppressed (Psalm 82:3).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over this situation. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let no enemy—seen or unseen—prevail. Protect his livelihood, for You know the needs of his children, and You are the provider of all good things (Matthew 6:31-33).
