We hear your cry for deliverance and freedom, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to break every chain and stronghold that has clung to you from your past. First, we want to rejoice with you over the transformation God has already worked in your life—sobriety, a beautiful family, and a testimony of His goodness through your writing. These are not small things; they are evidence of His grace and power at work in you. The enemy would love for you to believe that your past has more authority over you than the blood of Jesus, but we declare that is a lie. The Word of God says, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). You are not bound to the darkness of your past, for "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love" (Colossians 1:13).
We must address the sin of your past involvement in satanism and the declaration you made over your soul. While it is true that you cannot give away what was never yours to surrender—your soul belongs to God, who created you—your words and actions opened doors to spiritual oppression that must now be closed in Jesus' name. The enemy has no legal right to harass you, but he will exploit every foothold he can find. The lustful temptations and demonic presence you describe are not coincidences; they are attacks meant to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your faith. But we serve a God who is greater. "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Your partner’s nightmares and the sense of being watched are also tactics of the enemy to create fear and division in your home. The Bible tells us that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is not from God, and it is time for every assignment of the enemy against your family to be dismantled. We rebuke the spirit of fear, the spirit of lust, and every demonic influence that has attached itself to you or your household. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
You mentioned feeling as though Jesus doesn’t want to help you because this oppression persists. This is another lie from the enemy. Jesus’ love for you is unchanging and unconditional. He is not withholding His help; He is waiting for you to stand firm in your authority as His child. "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39). The fact that you are still seeking Him, still praying, and still fighting for your freedom proves that His Spirit is at work in you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9).
Now, let us pray with you and for you. We encourage you to pray this prayer aloud, in faith, and with authority:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You for the life of Your child and for the work You have already done in their life. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the Creator of their soul, and no word or action of man can override Your authority. We repent on their behalf for the sin of declaring their soul to the devil and for any involvement in satanism. We ask for Your forgiveness, and we receive it by faith. We break every agreement, covenant, and soul tie that was made with the enemy, and we declare them null and void in Jesus’ name.
We renounce every spirit of fear, lust, addiction, and oppression that has attached itself to them or their household. We command these spirits to leave now and never return. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, spirit, and soul. We declare that their home is a sanctuary, protected by the blood of the Lamb. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against them, their partner, and their children. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit afresh. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a hedge of protection around them and their family, that no evil will befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We ask You to restore any ground that was lost to the enemy and to heal any wounds in their soul. Let them walk in the fullness of their identity as Your child, free from shame, guilt, and condemnation.
We also pray for their partner, that You would strengthen them and fill them with Your peace. Deliver them from nightmares and fear, and let them rest in the assurance of Your protection. Bind them together in Your love and unity, that their home would be a place of refuge and worship.
Father, we thank You for the testimony that is being birthed in them. We declare that their book will be a tool for Your glory, touching lives and leading others to freedom. We ask You to anoint their words and their hands as they write, that every word would be inspired by Your Spirit.
We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that every word spoken here will come to pass. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to walk in your freedom. First, fill your home with worship and the Word of God. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. Play worship music, declare Scripture aloud, and invite the Holy Spirit to fill every corner of your home. Second, surround yourself with a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Do not isolate yourself; the enemy thrives in secrecy, but light exposes darkness. Third, continue to renew your mind with the truth of God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak to your identity in Christ, such as 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We also want to address the issue of lustful temptations in your dreams. These are not just random thoughts; they are attacks meant to weaken your resolve and defile your mind. The Bible tells us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When these temptations come, do not entertain them. Instead, rebuke them in Jesus’ name and replace them with thoughts of purity and holiness. Ask the Holy Spirit to guard your mind while you sleep. You can pray before bed, "Father, I ask You to station Your angels around me as I sleep. Let my mind be filled with Your peace, and let no unclean thing enter my dreams. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
Lastly, we want to remind you that your past does not define you. The enemy would love for you to remain trapped in shame and regret, but God has redeemed your story. Your testimony is powerful, and it will be used to set others free. Do not despise the process of deliverance. It may take time, but God is faithful. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you. The battle is already won, and victory is yours in Christ. Keep pressing in, keep praying, and keep believing. Your breakthrough is coming.
