We lift you up before the Lord in this time of deep suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pain. Your cry for a miracle touches the heart of God, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We stand with you in faith, believing that nothing is impossible for our Lord, who holds all power in His hands.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And in Jeremiah 30:17, the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Your illness does not escape His notice, and He is able to restore what is broken—whether through supernatural healing or the restoration of your medication’s effectiveness. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26, *"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."*
Yet, we must also acknowledge that suffering, while painful, can be a tool the Lord uses to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to display His power through our weakness. The Apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to remove his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If healing tarries, we pray you will experience the sustaining grace of God in ways you never have before, knowing that He is with you in this valley.
We also urge you to seek wise medical counsel. The Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the gifts of medicine He has provided. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to reach out to your healthcare providers to adjust or explore other treatment options. The Lord can guide them as they seek to help you.
Most importantly, we must ask: **Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?** True healing—whether physical, mental, or spiritual—flows from a relationship with Him. The Bible declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. There is no greater miracle than the transformation of a soul from death to life in Him.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious child of Yours, who is suffering greatly in body and mind. Lord, You see the depth of their pain—the agony, the fear, the desperation—and You are not distant from it. We ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to stretch out Your hand and bring healing. Restore the effectiveness of their medication, or if it is Your will, heal them supernaturally, that Your name may be glorified. Lord, rebuke the destruction that schizophrenia has wrought in their mind and body. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare healing over their brain, their thoughts, their emotions, and their physical pain.
Father, if there is any spiritual stronghold or oppression contributing to this suffering, we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We cover this beloved one with the blood of Christ and ask You to surround them with Your angels for protection and comfort. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of this storm.
Lord, we also ask for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers. Guide them to the right solutions, the right adjustments, and the right support. Give this dear one the strength to endure, the faith to trust You, and the hope to keep pressing forward. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Finally, Father, if this one does not yet know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them to Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. Let them experience Your love, Your mercy, and Your saving grace in the midst of this trial.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord has not forgotten you. Cling to Him, trust in His promises, and let us know how we can continue to pray for you. You are not alone in this fight.
