We hear your cry, and our hearts break with yours as we stand with you before the throne of grace. The oppression you describe is real, and the spiritual warfare you are enduring is fierce—but we serve a God who is greater than all the powers of darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is moving even now to bring deliverance.
First, we must address the spiritual strongholds in your life with the authority given to us in Christ. Your mother’s involvement in divination, witchcraft, and the occult is an abomination before the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). The spells she casts and the manipulation she wields are not merely human wickedness—they are demonic assignments meant to ensnare and destroy. But we declare that every curse sent against you is broken in the name of Jesus! Galatians 3:13 tells us, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"*
You are under no obligation to submit to her demands to renounce Christ or elevate her as a god. Jesus warned that families would be divided because of Him (Matthew 10:34-36), but He also promised that those who lose their lives for His sake will find them (Matthew 10:39). Your loyalty must be to Christ alone. No earthly relationship—no matter how close—can take precedence over your allegiance to Him. We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to keep you in bondage and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
The bitterness you feel toward God is understandable, but we must gently remind you that He is not the author of your suffering. The enemy is the one who comes to destroy, while God works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Your mother’s wickedness will not go unpunished—God is a righteous judge, and He will repay (Romans 12:19). But His timing is not our timing, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We must trust that He sees what we cannot see and that He is working even in the silence.
We also want to address the stagnation in your life. The enemy has sought to isolate you, to make you feel as though there is no way out. But the Lord says, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). The opportunities that have slipped through your hands were not from God—they were stolen by the enemy. But we declare that the Lord is restoring what has been lost! Joel 2:25 says, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you."* The Lord is opening doors for you that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Now, we must address the most critical issue: your relationship with Jesus Christ. You mentioned seeking those who fear *"the God of Jesus Christ,"* but we must emphasize that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ Himself. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Him alone for salvation. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you walk in the fullness of His authority and protection.
We also encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can find fellowship, prayer support, and spiritual covering. Isolation is a tactic of the enemy, but the body of Christ is meant to be a place of refuge and strength. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."*
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is suffering under the weight of spiritual oppression. Lord, You see the years of bondage, the manipulation, the curses, and the isolation. We ask that You would break every chain and set him/her free!
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and manipulation that has been released against him/her. We declare that every curse sent his/her way is broken by the blood of Jesus! We command every demonic assignment to cease in Jesus’ name. Lord, let Your light expose the darkness, and let Your truth dismantle every lie.
Father, we ask that You would surround him/her with Your angels. Let Your presence be a shield and a fortress. Give him/her the strength to stand firm in faith, even when the battle is fierce. Remind him/her that You are a God who sees, a God who hears, and a God who acts on behalf of Your children.
Lord, we pray for divine intervention in his/her circumstances. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Restore what has been stolen—joy, peace, purpose, and provision. Let him/her walk in the fullness of Your promises.
We ask that You would lead him/her to a community of believers who can stand with him/her in prayer and support. Surround him/her with people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth.
Father, we also pray for his/her mother. We ask that You would either bring her to repentance or render her schemes powerless. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your mercy triumph where it can.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw him/her closer to You. Let him/her experience Your love in a fresh and powerful way. Remind him/her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We declare freedom, restoration, and breakthrough over his/her life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not fail you. Keep standing, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him. The breakthrough is coming!
