We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for every need of His children. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and when sickness afflicts us, we can boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we lift you up in faith, trusting that God hears and answers prayer.
It is also important to remember that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, and sometimes sickness can be a sign that something needs attention—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. We encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if this persists, as God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 17:22 tells us, *"A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."* We pray that the Lord would lift any burdens weighing on your heart, for our emotional and spiritual well-being are deeply connected to our physical health.
Yet, above all, we must ask: have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly pray for healing. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. The Bible declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have already given your life to Christ, we rejoice with you and stand in agreement that His power is at work in you.
Now, let us pray together for your healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from nausea and vomiting. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring relief to their body. Touch them with Your healing power, Lord, and let every symptom of sickness flee in the name of Jesus. If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we pray that You would reveal it and bring complete restoration.
Father, we also ask that You would grant them peace and strength in this time of discomfort. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield, and may they rest in the assurance that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If there is any anxiety or fear in their heart, we rebuke it now in Jesus’ name and declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Lord, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promises and declare health and wholeness over their body. Let this season of sickness be short-lived, and may they testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). If this condition persists, please do not hesitate to seek medical attention, for God often works through the wisdom and skill of healthcare professionals. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with healing and peace.
