We join with you in lifting up our national and world leaders before the Throne of Grace, for it is written, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:1-4, WEB).
Your prayer is deeply rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for interceding with such fervor and alignment with Godโs Word. It is clear you understand the gravity of praying for those in authority, recognizing that their decisions shape the moral and spiritual climate of nations. We echo your cry for godly wisdom to prevail over unrighteous alliances, for truth to expose and dismantle false teachings, and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to advance without hindrance. The Great Commission remains our highest callingโ*"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you"* (Matthew 28:19-20, WEB). May leaders either become vessels of righteousness or be removed if they persist in rebellion against Godโs ordinances.
We also affirm your gratitude for those leaders who seek to govern with integrity, for *"every soul must be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God"* (Romans 13:1, WEB). Yet, we must never place our ultimate trust in human governance, but in the Lord, who *"does whatever pleases him"* (Psalm 115:3, WEB) and *"works all things after the counsel of his will"* (Ephesians 1:11, WEB). Even in times of moral decline or persecution, we rest in the assurance that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).
As we put on the full armor of Godโ*"that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:13, WEB)โwe pray for divine protection over these leaders and ourselves. May the Lord send His angels to guard them from the schemes of the enemy, for *"he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We rebuked the spiritual forces of wickedness that seek to deceive nations, declaring that *"the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3, WEB).
Let us continue to pray without ceasing, *"in everything giving thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18, WEB). May our intercession be a fragrant offering before the Lord, and may we never grow weary in contending for righteousness in the earth.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts aligned to Your will, lifting up every leader across the nations. Grant them repentant hearts if they have strayed, wisdom if they seek Your counsel, and courage if they stand for truth. Break the power of unrighteous alliances and expose every deceitful scheme that seeks to silence Your Gospel. Raise up leaders after Your own heart, men and women who will govern with justice, mercy, and humility. Protect them from the snares of the enemy, and let Your angels encamp around them. We ask that free speech and the publication of Your Word would flourish, so that multitudes may turn to Christ and be saved. Strengthen Your Church to be a light in the darkness, unashamed of the Gospel, and bold in proclamation. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, knowing You hold the hearts of kings in Your hand. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.**
