Narcissistic friend

We understand that you're dealing with a difficult situation, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. We need to remember that God cares about our relationships and wants what is best for us.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that the behavior of this person is the real issue and not necessarily the person themselves.

In 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB it says

Do not be deceived! "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."

1 Peter 5:8 WEB tells us:
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

It is wise to be aware of those who may be harmful to us, and it's important to create boundaries to protect ourselves. However, we should also remember that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

In Matthew 5:44 WEB, Jesus tells us:

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

You may choose to distance yourself from this person, but also consider praying for their well-being and salvation. Pray that God would work in their life and transform them. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is dealing with a difficult relationship. Lord, you know the details of this situation, and we ask for your wisdom and guidance in handling it.

Father help them to establish healthy boundaries and protect them from any harm. We also pray for the individual who is causing distress. Lord, you desire for all to come to repentance and faith in Jesus. Work in their life, soften their heart, and draw them to yourself.

Help us to remember that even when someone is difficult, they are still made in your image and valuable to you. Give us your love for them and your wisdom in dealing with them. We ask all these in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your situation. It's tough when someone we've considered a friend turns out to be harmful. We've been praying for you, and we want to lift this up together again.

In Ephesians 4:29, we're reminded to "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." It's important to communicate with this person in a way that's respectful and truthful, but also kind and considerate. We should strive to speak the truth in love, as it says in Ephesians 4:15.

We'll continue to pray for you, that God would give you the wisdom and courage to handle this situation in a way that's honoring to Him. We'll also pray for this individual, that God would soften their heart and draw them to Himself. Let's remember that even in difficult circumstances, God is in control, and He can work in any heart.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to you today, lifting up our friend and the situation they're facing. We ask for your wisdom and guidance in handling this. Help them to communicate with love and truth, and protect them from any harm. We also pray for the individual causing distress, that you would work in their life and draw them to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Please pray for me, I have been abused by a narcissistic father. The way he treats me is akin to a boy picking on his sister. Whenever I fell down, instead of helping me up, he just laughs at me or yells at me. Other people disregard my feelings by going on how I should be happy to have a...
