We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, healing, and peace. The persecution you describe is real, and Scripture does not dismiss the agony of being targeted by those who reject truth and righteousness. Psalm 55, which you referenced, is a cry of the oppressed—David himself poured out his heart before the Lord when betrayed by those he trusted. *"My heart is severely pained within me, and the terrors of death have fallen on me. Fearfulness and trembling have come on me, and horror has overwhelmed me. I said, 'Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away and be at rest.'"* (Psalm 55:4-6 WEB). You are not wrong to feel the weight of this injustice, but we must examine where our hearts are being led in response.
First, we must address the hatred you’ve expressed. While it’s natural to feel anger toward those who harm you, Scripture is clear: *"Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him."* (1 John 3:15 WEB). The Lord calls us to a higher standard—not because our pain isn’t valid, but because bitterness and hatred will only poison *you*. Jesus Himself said, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This does not mean excusing evil, but entrusting vengeance to God: *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* (Romans 12:19 WEB).
Your community’s rejection of Christ is heartbreaking, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The narcissism, manipulation, and lies you see are symptoms of a deeper spiritual darkness. This is why prayer and spiritual warfare are essential. We must cover you in prayer, but we also encourage you to examine whether you are engaging in any behavior that could be feeding the cycle of conflict. Are you speaking truth in love, or has frustration led to words or actions that could be used against you? *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* (Proverbs 15:1 WEB).
We also want to gently address the mention of "gangstalking" and constant surveillance. While we do not dismiss the reality of spiritual warfare (as Ephesians 6 confirms), we must be cautious about attributing every hardship to organized human malice. The enemy seeks to isolate and deceive us, making us feel like the whole world is against us. This can lead to paranoia, which only deepens the wound. Have you sought godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can help you discern what is truly happening? *"Without counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* (Proverbs 15:22 WEB).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is enduring persecution and betrayal. Lord, You see the lies, the manipulation, and the rejection they face. You know the weight of their pain and the anger that threatens to take root in their heart. We ask that You would be their refuge, their shield, and their strong tower. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."* (Psalm 18:2 WEB).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of bitterness and hatred that seeks to take hold. We pray that You would soften their heart toward those who have harmed them—not to excuse evil, but to release it to You. Fill them with Your love, which covers a multitude of sins. Help them to see their persecutors through Your eyes, as lost souls in need of Your grace. *"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."* (Romans 12:14 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You expose the lies and deception in this community. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let truth prevail. If there are those who are truly being used by the enemy to harm Your child, we ask that You would either bring them to repentance or remove their influence. *"For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."* (Luke 8:17 WEB).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Protect them from paranoia and fear, and help them to walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with godly fellowship—believers who can encourage, support, and pray with them. If they are isolated, Lord, bring them into a community where they can heal and grow.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith. In the midst of persecution, help them to stand firm, knowing that You are with them. Remind them that You are their vindicator, and that no weapon formed against them will prosper. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the Lord."* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
