We join with you in prayer for you and your precious daughter and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. We lift you both up together before the Lord this day.

We hear your heart as a mother who loves her child deeply and desires to provide a safe, loving, and stable home. We hear the fear and burden you carry regarding your ex, his family, the words spoken against you, and the involvement of CPS and the possibility of court. We stand with you asking for God's protection, truth, and guidance.

The Lord sees you and your daughter and He is your refuge. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Isaiah 54:17 reminds us, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants. We pray this over you and your daughter now, that every lie, manipulation, and false statement would be revealed and would not stand, and that truth would prevail in every conversation, document, and decision concerning your family.

We pray that the Lord will guard your tongue and your heart, that you would walk not by fear or by sight but by faith and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. May He give you wisdom for every answer you give to CPS, for every document you complete, and for every interaction you have today. May He surround you with people who are sent from Him, give you discernment to recognize them, and keep you and your daughter in safe spaces wherever you go. We pray that those you meet would see your love for your daughter and the safety you provide through Christ’s strength in you.

We also pray for your ex and his family, as you so graciously asked to bless your enemies and melt their hearts. We ask the Father to soften his heart, to open his eyes to how his actions affect you and your daughter, and to turn any intent to harm into an opportunity for repentance and peace. Romans 12:21 says Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. And we pray that even if his heart remains hard, the Lord would restrain any tongue that would seek to harm you or your daughter or damage your bond, and that His perfect justice and mercy would be done.

We thank God for your desire to be the best mother you can be, to keep your daughter in focus and to let her feel loved as she is loved by Jesus. Children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward, Psalm 127:3. We pray that your daughter would feel the love of her mother and the love of Jesus surrounding her in every part of her being, in her home, and among those around her. We pray she would be kept from all evil, from confusion and from any attack that would steal her joy, and that she would be held close to you as you have asked. We ask the Lord to let your home be filled with His peace and light so that no one can question the love and safety you provide.

We lift up your education and your future. We pray the Lord will give you motivation, clarity, and understanding in your new field, that you would make a good impression and not be put to shame, and that He would use this season to establish your steps. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. May that peace guard you when fear or slander tries to pollute your heart and mind.

We also join you in praying for a future husband if it is the Lord’s will. We affirm your desire for a godly marriage, for we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God, and that courtship should be entered with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. We pray that if it is His will for you to marry, He would bring a man of faith in His perfect timing, a man who will love you and your daughter as Christ loves the church, and that you would be prepared and guarded in purity and wisdom as you wait upon Him. Psalm 37:4 says Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

We pray now together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this dear mother and her daughter. Cover them with Your blood, let them dwell in Your shadow, and keep them from all harm. Let no weapon formed against them prosper and let every false word be exposed by Your truth. Give this mother wisdom, calm, and right words for every meeting and every paper, and let CPS and all authorities handle this case with fairness and truth. Keep mother and daughter together and close, guide their next steps, and turn every evil intent or misunderstanding into blessing for them. Melt the hearts of those who oppose them, forgive as You have forgiven us, and let Your will be done in their lives. Bless this day, bless their home and every space they enter, make them vessels of Your salvation, and let Your light shine upon them so Your love is evident to all. Keep this mother’s heart and mind fixed on You, strengthen her to trust Your understanding and not her own, and help her to love her daughter each day as You love her. We ask for godly protection, provision, and direction, and for a future that honors You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We hear the love in your prayer for your daughter and how much you want to keep her safe and close. Carrying worry about your ex, about what might be said or written, and about CPS while also trying to stay present for your little girl and keep up with your studies is a lot to hold at once. It makes sense you feel stretched and on edge.

One thing that can help when everything feels urgent is to narrow your focus to what is right in front of you today. Being the steady, loving mother you already want to be matters most to her right now, meals together, listening, bedtime routines, letting her feel your calm presence. That consistency speaks loudly.

For the practical pressures, it can help to have steady support beside you. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or legal aid advocate, consider letting them walk with you through the CPS paperwork and any communication with your ex. Keep brief dated notes of conversations and keep copies of everything you send or receive, and answer questions simply and truthfully. If your school has an advisor, letting them know you are navigating a difficult season may open up some grace or resources for your coursework.

We are praying for you both.

Jesus, we lift this mother and her daughter to You. Cover them with Your peace today, guide her steps and words, help the truth to be seen clearly, and give wisdom to everyone involved in her daughter's case. Strengthen her as she mothers and studies, and keep them close in Your care. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with tenderness and we have heard the deep love you bear for your daughter and the burden that rests upon you in these days. You have asked for the presence of Christ to cover your home, your steps, and every space you enter, and that is a right and good desire, for the Eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.

You speak much of fear, fear of what others may say, fear of what your former husband may do, fear of the judgments of others and of the handling of your daughter's case. Hear what the Lord says to such trembling hearts, Fear not, for I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. The fear of man bringeth a snare, but the fear of God bringeth blessing. We are to labor to get rid, as much as possible, of that slavish fear which dishonors God and weakens the hands, and to cherish instead that holy, childlike fear which makes us watch our every footstep lest we should grieve our Father, and which says, Happy is the man that feareth always in the sense of reverent obedience.

Christ has come to take away slavish fear. The angel said, Unto you is born this day a Saviour, and where Jesus is, fear is cast out. Perfect love dwells in joyful harmony with holy awe, but it casts out tormenting dread. When those lips which are as lilies dropping sweet smelling myrrh say, Fear not, how can we be afraid. Your safety lies not in being afraid of Christ, but in trusting Him. He says, Fear not, only believe.

We have prayed for you and your little one according to the will of God.

We have asked the Lord to be your refuge when foes rage, that you need not fear their fury, for He has planted His feet in the darkest depths and made a path through the mighty waters so that you may boldly follow Him and say, Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. We have asked Him to let truth be revealed and lies be uncovered, for God does not cease to observe, and He loves righteousness and generous dealing. May He grant that every tongue that would speak harmfully be restrained, and that every action meant for evil be turned in His providence to good, yet always according to His holy justice and not according to our own sight.

We have prayed that you may be guided not by fear nor by your own understanding, but by the Lord alone, that your heart and mind be kept from being polluted by evil tongues, and that all your actions may be done for the glory of God and because of the greatness of His holy name. A good action is not wholly good unless it is done for Him. May He give you wisdom in your answers to those in authority, in every document and conversation, to speak the truth in love, to walk uprightly, and to show by a quiet and faithful life the safety and love you provide for your child by His strength.

We have prayed for your daughter, that the Lord would hold her heart, keep her from harm, let her feel your love and far more the love of Christ which passes all understanding, and that she may early be brought to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. May she be kept in a bubble of grace, not of our making, but of His everlasting arms.

We have prayed for your daily work and education, that God would give you motivation, clarity, and a good understanding, that you may make a good impression not for vainglory, for Jesus never had a thought of fame, but that your labor may be honest and faithful before Him.

And concerning your desire for a future husband, we have prayed that if it be the Lord's will, He would in His perfect time bring to you a man of faith to enter with you into that holy estate which God ordained from the beginning, marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, lived in purity and fidelity, and that until then you would be kept in holiness and contentment under His hand, trusting His better wisdom.

We encourage you to use the telescope very frequently. Look not only at the trial immediately before you, but look through to the eternal shore where Christ has gone before. He has drunk the cup for His people, and He says, Drink, My child, there can be nothing deadly in it, for it has not destroyed Me. Let this prepared hope deliver you from tormenting fear.

Continue to forgive as you have prayed, to bless those who have trespassed against you, and to seek to be a vessel for Christ to bring His salvation to everyone you meet, for men love to hear what religion has done for those like themselves. Tell what the Saviour has done for you.

May the Lord keep you and your daughter close together so far as it is consistent with His wise and good will, and above all keep you both close to Himself. May He grant you right decisions and the right pathway, and give you strength to trust and to do what He has planned, leaning on His understanding.

We commend you to Him who hears broken prayer, for though the prayer be broken, it is the prayer of His dear child and He whom we call Abba, Father, accepts it through Jesus Christ our Lord. In His name we ask that no weapon formed against you shall finally prosper against His purpose, and that His light shall shine upon you and make your love and care manifest.

May grace, peace and safety be yours today and in all days to come as you abide under His wings.
