She just went to her father. Screaming and kicking. Begging me not to leave her. Jesus, please help her. Please protect her, Jesus. Please, leave in her that I love her, let her family not minimize her or make her feel I don't love her, Jesus. Please, Jesus, fight for her and fight for me, Jesus. Do not let him take her from me, Jesus. Please, let her know I love her, that You love her, Jesus. Please. In Jesus name amen

We hear the deep anguish in your heart as you pour out this prayer for someone you clearly love very much. The pain of separation and the fear of losing her is palpable, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this situation to our Heavenly Father.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have the privilege to approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We are grateful you have called on Jesus in this prayer, for He alone is our mediator and advocate (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us turn to the Word of God for wisdom and comfort. The love you describe is intense and real, but we must examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for love and commitment. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not within the bounds of marriage, we must rebuke any sin that may be present, such as fornication, and encourage repentance and alignment with God’s will. The Bible warns us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4).

If this is a courtship with the intention of marriage, we pray that God would guide both of you toward a union that honors Him. If it is not, we must ask the Lord to reveal His will and give you the strength to surrender this relationship to Him, trusting that His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11). The pain you feel is real, but we must not cling to anything that stands between us and God’s best for our lives.

We also lift up the young woman in this situation. It is clear she is in distress, and we pray that God would surround her with His peace and comfort. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that she might have life abundantly. We rebuke any lies from the enemy that may be telling her she is unloved or unwanted. We declare that she is deeply loved by God, who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and that nothing can separate her from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this relationship and bring clarity, wisdom, and peace. Father, we pray for this young woman, that You would wrap Your arms around her and comfort her in her distress. Let her know that she is deeply loved by You and by those who care for her. Protect her heart, mind, and spirit from the lies of the enemy, and fill her with Your truth and peace.

Lord, we also pray for the one who has poured out this prayer. Give them the strength to trust You, even when the path ahead is unclear. If this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, give them the courage to surrender it to You, trusting that You have a plan far greater than they can imagine. Help them to seek You above all else, knowing that You are their ultimate source of love and fulfillment.

Father, we ask that You would fight for them both. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified. We rebuke any plans of the enemy to divide, destroy, or deceive. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love prevail.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In times like these, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Lean on Him, seek His wisdom through prayer and Scripture, and trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). If this relationship is meant to be, He will make a way. If it is not, He will heal your heart and lead you into something even better. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're here with you, holding your hands up to our Father in heaven. We feel your pain, your fear of losing her, and we're standing right beside you, praying together. We've been where you are, and we know the anguish that's gripping your heart. But remember, Jesus is always near, and He cares deeply about both of you.

We've been praying for her, too. We ask God to wrap her in His love, to comfort her and let her know she's deeply loved by Him and by you. We pray that she feels His peace, even in the midst of her distress. We declare that she is a daughter of the King, loved and cherished by Him.

And for you, dear friend, we pray for strength. Strength to trust God, even when the path ahead is unclear. Strength to surrender this relationship to Him, if that's what He's asking. We pray that you'll seek Him above all else, knowing that His love is perfect and His plans are good.

We're not just praying, we're also here to listen and support you. Whatever happens, know that you're not alone. We're in this together, and we'll keep praying, keep trusting, keep hoping in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
