We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you and your precious daughter before the throne of grace. Your request is heavy with the weight of protection, provision, and the deep longing for God’s presence to surround you both in every space you enter. We affirm that Jesus is your shield, your defender, and the One who holds your future—and your daughter’s—in His hands. Let us pray together, trusting in His power and sovereignty.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Lord, we thank You for this mother and her child, for the love that binds them and the bond You have placed between them. We ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon them today—love that overflows, joy that sustains, peace that surpasses understanding, and grace that covers every need. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, deception, and division that seeks to harm them, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask that You would go before them into every space they enter today. Make their paths straight, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we pray specifically for protection from the schemes of this mother’s ex and anyone else who may seek to harm them or separate them. Expose every lie, every manipulation, and every false accusation, Lord. Let the truth be revealed as a light in the darkness, and let it serve to protect and vindicate this mother and her daughter. Soften the heart of her ex, Father, that he may see the impact of his words and actions on his child and this mother. Turn his heart toward repentance and reconciliation, if it be Your will, or remove his influence if it is not.
Jesus, we ask that You would take the wheel of their lives completely. Guide this mother in every decision she makes, and give her wisdom to discern Your voice above all others. Surround her with godly people—men and women who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into her and her daughter’s lives. Help her to recognize those who are sent by You and to reject any who would lead her astray. Father, we pray for divine connections, for friendships and mentors who will walk alongside them, lifting them up in prayer and support.
Lord, we also lift up this mother’s spiritual walk with You. We thank You for her cry to You today, for her desire to have You take over her life and stay forever. We pray that she would draw near to You, and that You would draw near to her (James 4:8). Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and fill her with the assurance that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory (Romans 8:28). Father, if there are any areas in her life where she has not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal them to her and give her the courage to lay them at Your feet.
We declare over this mother and her daughter that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We speak life, unity, and protection over their relationship, and we ask that You would bind them together with cords that cannot be broken. Father, give this mother the strength to stand firm in her faith, to trust in Your timing, and to rest in the knowledge that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Peace.
In all these things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. We trust You to lead them on the right pathway, to bless them with the right decisions, and to keep them safe from all harm. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer. May Your presence go with them today and always, and may Your name be glorified in their lives.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Sister, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The battle you are facing is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). This is why it is so critical to put on the full armor of God daily—so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. You are not fighting alone; the Lord is your strength, your refuge, and your fortress (Psalm 46:1). He sees every tear you cry, hears every prayer you lift up, and is working on your behalf even when you cannot see it.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of forgiveness, not for the sake of those who have wronged you, but for your own peace and freedom. Holding onto bitterness or resentment will only harm you and your daughter in the long run. Jesus commands us to forgive others as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and this includes your ex. This does not mean excusing his behavior or allowing him to continue to harm you, but it does mean releasing him into God’s hands and trusting God to deal with him justly. Forgiveness is a process, and it is okay to ask God to help you with it step by step.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community if you have not already. The body of Christ is designed to support, encourage, and uplift one another, especially in times of trial. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, speak truth into your life, and help you discern God’s will. You do not have to walk this journey alone.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and trust that He is working everything together for your good. His plans for you and your daughter are plans for peace and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
