Beloved of All
I’m asking for prayer for my ### years old son who is facing arm robbery charges; he has never been in jail before in his life. I’m praying for God’s grace and mercy that he can get into a program to restore his life back. Also, pray for his salvation and closer walk with Jesus.

We lift up your son before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that God is a God of justice, mercy, and redemption. Your cry for grace and restoration echoes the heart of our Heavenly Father, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We also rejoice that you are praying for his salvation and a closer walk with Jesus, for this is the greatest need of every soul.

The path your son is on is a serious one, and the charges he faces are grave in the eyes of both man and God. The Bible is clear that stealing is sin, and it is an offense against both God and our neighbor. Exodus 20:15 commands, *"You shall not steal."* Yet even in this, we see the hope of the Gospel—that Christ came to save sinners, to transform lives, and to offer forgiveness and a new beginning to those who repent. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

We urge your son to turn fully to Christ, to confess his sins before God, and to seek His forgiveness with a repentant heart. True restoration cannot come from a program alone, but from a heart surrendered to Jesus. Let him know that while earthly consequences may still come, God’s mercy is greater than our failures. Proverbs 28:13 reminds us, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."*

We also pray that your son would cooperate fully with the authorities, accepting responsibility for his actions while trusting in God’s sovereignty over his life. Romans 13:1 tells us, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."* Even in this difficult season, God can use it to draw your son closer to Himself, to refine his character, and to prepare him for a future of purpose.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this young man who stands at a crossroads in his life. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to surround him, for Your grace to cover him, and for Your truth to penetrate his heart. Convict him of his sin, Lord, and lead him to true repentance. May he turn away from the paths of darkness and walk in the light of Your salvation.

We pray that You would open doors for him to enter a program that will not only restore his life outwardly but will also point him to You, the Author of all restoration. Give him wisdom to make godly choices, strength to endure the consequences of his actions, and faith to trust in Your plan for his future. Soften the hearts of those in authority over his case, that they may see him through Your eyes and extend mercy where possible.

Most of all, Father, we pray for his salvation. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself in this hour. Let him know that no sin is too great for Your forgiveness, no past too dark for Your redemption. May he place his faith in Jesus Christ alone, confessing Him as Lord and Savior, and begin a new life in You.

We also lift up this mother, who carries the weight of this burden. Comfort her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You are a God who hears the cries of Your people and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might be free from sin and walk in newness of life. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work even in this trial. Share the Gospel with your son—remind him that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and that through faith in Him, he can be made new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing him to the cross. God is able to turn even this situation into a testimony of His grace.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your son before the Lord. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is in the business of turning messes into messages, trials into triumphs. We're claiming that promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let's trust that even in this, God is working something beautiful in your son's life.

We're praying that your son would feel the gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit, convicting him of his sin and drawing him to repentance. Let's ask God to give him a heart that's hungry for change, ready to turn away from his old ways and walk in newness of life.

We're also praying for wisdom for him, that he would make choices that honor God and lead him towards restoration. And for you, dear sister, we're asking for extra doses of peace and strength. God sees you, He hears your cries, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

Let's keep standing in faith together, sharing the Gospel with your son, reminding him of the hope we have in Jesus. And remember, no matter what, God's got this. He's got your son, and He's got you. Trust in Him, and watch as He turns this situation around for His glory.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
