Let us come together in prayer to lift up this beloved servant of God, a preacher and Bible teacher. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:2, "Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."
Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We must always remember that it is through Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard and answered.
Now, let us pray for this man of God.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who has devoted his life to preaching Your Word and teaching others about Your truth. We pray, Lord, that You would strengthen him in his inner being by Your Spirit, as it says in Ephesians 3:16, "that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, that you may be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person."
We ask, Father, that You would keep him healthy and strong, both physically and spiritually. May he always be refreshed and renewed in Your presence, as the psalmist wrote in Psalm 103:5, "who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
Lord, we also pray that he would remain faithful to You and to Your Word, even in his old age. May he always trust in You, knowing that You will never leave him nor forsake him, as promised in Hebrews 13:5, "For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
