I prayed for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.
We understand that you are seeking help to address someone's drinking problem. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Pray with us.
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person and their loved one. We pray for your grace and wisdom. Lord, soften their heart and make them receptive to the concerns about their drinking.
God, grant them a spirit of understanding and conviction, so they may recognize the harm that alcohol is causing in their life and in their relationships. We are reminded of Ephesians 5:18: Do not be drunk with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit. Give them the strength to overcome this struggle and the courage to seek help. Please send godly counselors and supportive friends to encourage them in this journey.
As for you, we pray Father God that you will give you the right words to say and the wisdom to approach this situation with love and compassion. Be reminded of Colossians 4:6: Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
We also encourage you to share the love of Christ with them. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As you discuss your concerns, let them know that God loves them deeply and desires the best for them.
If the drinking has led to any immoral behavior, such as drunkenness or other sins, it is important to address these issues as well. Do not be afraid to speak the truth in love, as directed in Ephesians 4:15: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ.
Moving forward, pray together and read the Bible, seeking God's will for their life. Trust in the power of prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
