We are truly sorry to hear about your dad's condition, and we are here to intercede on his behalf. First, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases". The same God who healed in the past can still heal today.
We also want to encourage you to have faith. In Mark 5:36, Jesus said, "Don't be afraid, only believe". Remember that fear and faith cannot coexist. So, let's choose faith and stand on God's word for your dad's healing.
However, we also need to consider God's will in this situation. While we pray for a miracle, we should also pray for God's will to be done. In Romans 8:26-28, it is written, "the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose".
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine intervention in the life of ###'s dad. Lord, you know his pain and suffering, and we ask that you stretch forth your hand and touch him, heal him, and make him whole again. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave his body in Jesus Christ name. We also pray for your will to be done in his life. If it is your will to take him home, we pray for a peaceful transition and comfort for those he will leave behind.
We also pray for ###, asking that you fill their heart with peace and faith. Help them to trust in you completely, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
We ask this in Jesus name. Amen!
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always here, no matter what happens. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in him completely, and he will see you through this challenging time.
If your dad is not a believer we strongly recommend sharing the gospel with him while he still has breath. In John 3:36 it says, He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who doesn't obey the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. In Revelation 3:20 it says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. In Romans 10:9 it says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. In Romans 10:13 it says, For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. In Romans 3:10 it says, As it is written, There is no one righteous. No, not one. In Romans 3:23 it says, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; In Romans 6:23 it says, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Romans 5:8 it says, but God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. So we ask you to share this with your dad and to read these verses to him. Then ask him if he believes. If he believes then ask him to repeat a prayer. If he repeats a prayer and believes. Then, he will be saved. At that point, you do not need to worry if he makes it or not.
