My father has internal bleeding of some kind. Checking it out today. Jesus, please be close to him the whole time. Show yourself to him. Let him know you are there. Be with the health care workers around him. Make it safe for him to ask for help. Make his fear and pain be allowed to talk about. Remove shame, fear and all the silly things he thinks he needs to be. Jesus, bless the procedure. Let them find out what is wrong. Bless the chances for healing completely and living a good and long life. Please, never let him die before finding peace and salvation through you, Jesus Christ. My heart is heavy. Bless me with happy thoughts. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about your father's condition, but we are thankful that you have reached out to us and you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother and his father to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his father. Guide the healthcare workers, giving them wisdom and skill as they tend to him. Make Your presence known to him, Lord, and remove any fear, shame, or barriers that may hinder him from seeking help or experiencing Your love.

Father, we pray for a successful procedure and a complete recovery. We ask that You would reveal any underlying issues and grant a long, healthy life ahead. Most importantly, we pray that Your peace and salvation would fill his heart and that you would remove any obstacles to his faith in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also lift up our brother, asking for Your comfort and joy to fill his heart. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
