The older I get, the more I realize my need for God in my life. I am a sinner, unworthy of HIS love and divine care. And yet...... he forgives me and loves me deeply. When I was young, I thought I didn't need God, I could take care of myself. How ridiculous that seems today. There is no way I could walk out my door in the morning to face the day knowing that I was on my own! I make way too many mistakes. HE is constantly picking me up and dusting me off an sending me on my way again. Thank GOD that he sees the me that I can become instead of the me that walks in sin! Can I get an AMEN! I need the Lord every second of every day. I have walked many valleys and climbed many peaks but HE has been there with me. Things have happened in my life that were both amazing and terrifying and still HE was there. I thank HIM for all that has happened for that has shaped me into who I am today. I thank HIM and praise HIM! May I serve HIM all of my days and when it's time, may I dwell in the HOUSE OF THE LORD forever!
ALL THAT IS IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH IS YOURS.
1 CHRONICLES 29:11
WHEN ALL YOU HAVE IS GOD,
YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED.
I'm always looking for new ways to praise, to thank, to glorify, and to honor our God.
David's words in 1 Chronicles 29:10-13. His son, Solomon would be the one to build the Temple, but David gives this pre-dedication.
"Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation, and David said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, our father, forever and ever. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty for all that is in heaven and on the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as Head above all. Both riches and honor come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in Thy hand is power or might; and in Thy hand is to make great, and to give strength to all."
Sisters and brothers - Praise the Lord with all your heart, your mind and your spirit. Let Him cover you with His blood and wash you white as snow. Let Him pour out His mercy and grace upon your life. You will never walk alone no matter what the test or the trial. He will be with you in good times and in bad. Let go and let God!
