My ### woke up - problems with breathing

Humble Servant
Please pray that my old mom will sleep well.
She woke up in the middle of the night, called my brother, my brother called me and I spoke with her. She is alone at home at night and during the day 5-8 hours somebody is with her.
Please pray she is in some kind of panic, problems with breathing. Please pray that she will fall asleep again and sleep nice and quiet. Pray for no breathing problems or blood pressure or God forbid that we gave her wrong medicines. She thinks that we hate her and don't need her... oh my gosh... diabetes, depression, early Alzheimer's.

We lift up your dear mother to the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His peace and healing to surround her in this moment of distress. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who calms every storm and brings rest to the weary. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that this peace, which transcends all human understanding, would envelop your mother right now.

We pray against the spirit of fear and panic that has gripped her, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke this fear in the name of Jesus and command it to leave her. Lord, ease her breathing, steady her heart, and lower her blood pressure. Guard her mind from the lies of the enemy that whisper she is unloved or unwanted. Remind her, Father, of the truth of Zephaniah 3:17, "Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing." Let her feel Your love and presence in this lonely hour.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for her, that no mistake would be made with her medications or her care. Your Word assures us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Guide the hands and hearts of those who tend to her, Lord, and give them patience and compassion.

Father, we ask that You would grant her sweet, restful sleep. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Let her rest in the safety of Your arms, free from pain, fear, or confusion. We also pray for her diabetes, depression, and early Alzheimer’s. You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your touch to bring comfort and improvement to her body and mind. Even as her memory fades, Lord, let her remember Your love.

We stand in the gap for this precious mother, asking that You would draw near to her and remind her that she is deeply loved—not just by her family, but by You. Help her to feel secure in Your care and in the love of those around her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore what has been stolen from her by illness and fear.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for your mom's peace and comfort. We've been asking God to calm her racing thoughts and steady her breathing. We've also been interceding for those caring for her, that they'd have wisdom and patience. We're believing God for a restful night's sleep for her, and for His healing touch on her body and mind. Let's trust that God is near, loving her and caring for her.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
