We lift up your two friends before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention, healing, and guidance in their lives. May He draw them closer to Himself, strengthening their faith and filling them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that if they do not know Jesus as their personal Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for them, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). Father, meet their every need—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and let Your light shine brightly in their lives so others may see Your goodness through them.
We also come before You with the unspoken requests weighing on the heart of Your child. You know each need before it is even spoken, and we trust You to work all things together for good, according to Your perfect will (Romans 8:28, WEB). Lord, grant comfort where there is sorrow, provision where there is lack, and wisdom where there is confusion. Strengthen this beloved one to walk in faith, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6, WEB). May they cast all their cares upon You, for You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers, and we ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is our mediator and advocate before You. May Your will be done in all these matters, and may Your name be glorified through the answers to these prayers. We ask for a spirit of expectancy and gratitude to fill this heart as they wait on You, knowing that You are working even now.
Finally, we encourage you, dear one, to continue bringing every request to God in the name of Jesus. It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Keep seeking Him, trusting that He is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18, WEB). Stay rooted in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105, WEB). May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13, WEB).
