We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family. We pray for your husband, that God may grant him repentance and the knowledge of the truth, as stated in 2 Timothy 2:25-26 WEB: "in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance to knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will."
We rebuke the spirit of adultery and pray that God will soften your husband's heart as he is drawn back to God. As it is written in Proverbs 7:5 WEB "That they may keep you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words." We pray that the truth of God's word will bring conviction to him.
We encourage you to be a Godly spouse, Ephesians 5:22-24 in the WEB says "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." The burden is not just on him, but is on both of you to love and serve each other as spouses.
Remember the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We pray for your marriage and family to be healed and restored.
We also encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 14:13-14 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We pray that God will bring healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation to your marriage. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Pray for him, your children, and yourself. Trust God and consider fasting.
