We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your teenage son as he embarks on his new job. Let us first acknowledge the wonderful example of hard work and responsibility that Job from the Bible demonstrated, even in the midst of immense trials. As the scripture says, "In all this, Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing" Job 1:22 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this young man to You. We thank You for this new opportunity he has been given, and we ask that You would guide him in this new journey. Help him to be responsible, diligent, and wise in his work, always seeking to honor You in all that he does, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men," Colossians 3:23 WEB.
Lord, we also pray for his family situation. We ask that You would work in his father's heart, that he would be supportive and not interfere with his son's work. We pray for peace and understanding in their relationship, "Fathers, don't provoke your children, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4 WEB.
Father, we also ask for wisdom for the person submitting this request. Help them to guide their child in the right path, encouraging him to be responsible and hardworking. Give them the grace to trust You with their son's future, just as Job trusted You in his trials.
Lastly, Father, we pray for his salvation and that he would grow in the knowledge and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that this job would not just be a means of income, but also a platform for his Christian witness, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 WEB.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only by Jesus' name that we have access to God. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that we are saved. Jesus is the only way to God. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Luke 19:10 WEB.
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will work all things out for good. Remember, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB.
Finally, may the Lord Jesus Christ's words bring you comfort and strength, "for I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20 WEB.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
