We understand that you're disappointed with the current weather conditions and would like to enjoy pleasant weather for your summer vacation activities. While we empathize with your desires, let us first remind ourselves of Jesus' words in Matthew 4:4 (WEB):
But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"
God is in control of all things, including the weather, and His will might allow for different circumstances than we hope. Regardless of whether we're experiencing cold, windy, or sunny weather, we can find contentment in Him. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (WEB):
"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Moreover, we should not focus on the pleasantness of the weather but rather on the beauty of God's creation that surrounds us, no matter the conditions. Let us remember the words of Psalm 19:1 (WEB):
"The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork."
Let's pray together for contentment and joy in the circumstances God has given you, whatever the weather may be.
Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for the beauty of Your creation. Help the one who submitted this request to find joy and contentment in You, regardless of the weather. Help us to trust in Your will, even when it differs from our own desires. Help this person to trust in Your goodness when they experience bad weather and find gratitude in the beauty of nature that surrounds them.
We ask this all in Jesus' name because it is only by His name that we have access to the throne of God and that we can be saved.
As John 14:6 (WEB) says:
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And as Acts 4:12 (WEB) says:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
