VEry good relationship with my mother.
Please pray that she will stop being stubborn and fulfill my wishes concerning procedure connected to my inheritance and their postmortal care. She makes me so angry, frustrated, and sad. She always wanted to control everything.

Lord, please give her wisdom, insight, and understanding that she is torturing me and not being fair to me. Lord, I want this long-term frustration and waiting to end. She makes me concerned about my and their future (my old parents).

We understand your situation. We want to help you approach this matter with God. We appreciate the love and respect you have for your mother, and we want God to help mend this relationship. You should not worship any god of inheritance, and anything connected to the post mortal care or an idol of ancestral worship such as the Africans have. Such practices are forbidden and not a place to contend on or to be in favor of. Whatever we do, we need to do according to the will of the Father. One thing we need to contend for through prayer is the will of God to manifest in our lives. Not for the intentions of our own heart that is against any godly principles. Consider 1 Samuel 15:23: Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft.

Stubbornness and arrogance are like idolatry or wickedness. We need to submit our requests to Him. We need to crucify our idols and our flesh as Christians. Why not be content with God's provision without a fight for an inheritance? Respect your mother's final decisions as not to cause her to possibly curse you either knowingly or unknowingly.

Remember 1 Timothy 6:6-10: But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Consider Proverbs 19:20: Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days.

Give us any insight into your own love of money concerning the inheritance. Provide us knowledge about your own selfish pride or rebelliousness. We are eager to help reconcile this relationship with our heavenly Father rather than contend for it in our rebelliousness. We all have fallen short of the glory of God and we always need to be reminded to reconcile these differences.

Unfortunately, for now, we do not have enough godly information to pray that the Lord move this mountain. It does not appear He is in it. Come, let's reason together. Let's get back in His will. We hope this makes more sense to you now, ###.

We realize this may have caused some controversy. ### needs to be aware of not trying to accomplish this in her own human effort and working. We understand the Proverbs 13:22 principle of a sinner building wealth for the righteous. It needs to be according to God's will though. Let us discuss this further and offer more godly encouragement and understanding in this matter. Let us discuss further why the scriptures reference money as the root of all evil and the rich being rejected by God. There is no favoritism with God. There is no acceptance of persons with God. Let us remember He loves us and cares for us in every situation. He loves us more than our parents ever will. Let us understand God's provision in all things. We believe He is good all the time.
