My special close friend has disappeared on me. No communication

My special close friend has disappeared on me.
No communication last six weeks.
No response to phone calls or texts. Nothing from them. Don't know if they are hurt, sick, dead or alive because they have to travel UP and down the highways to work.
Need to hear from them and yes they OWE me.
