Heavenly Father, I pray that you will somehow reach my 17 year old son and give him the guidance which he is so unwilling to accept from his family. Let him know that we all love him and only want the best for him. He has made some very poor choices and doesn't realize just how destructive a path he is on. Despite the fact that he is paying the legal consequences of his actions he still persists along a self-destructive path. I know he has lost his way but I believe only you can turn him around and set him back in the right direction. Guide me in my efforts to redirect him and to enable him to see the flaws in his reasoning. I ask your forgiveness for my wavering faith in You. Help me to overcome my doubts and make me strong in my faith.
