i think  you  have  to  show  your  son....what  he  has  to do;   for  stop  smoking  for  example  change his  habit  with  eat gum...more  practices  sport football maybe..ect...for  concentrate...try  to  focus  start  with  small thing  example....read  book star  with slow...focus what  his  reading...ask  every time...what  learn  he  find from  the  story....and   I  Pray  your  son  wiill get  better...
