We join you in thanking the Lord for bringing ### home and we continue to pray for his safety and deliverance from his struggles. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved. It is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"(Acts 4:12 WEB). It is so important that this is acknowledged in the prayer request submitted. It is only through a belief in Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard. It is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."(John 14:13,14 WEB).
We pray that God's angels will guard ###, and that the Lord will break the chains of addiction to pills and drinking. We pray that ### will be convicted and turn away from these habits that are harmful to him. It is written, "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."(1 Peter 5:8 WEB).
We also pray for reconciliation and love among ### and his brothers. It is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."(Ephesians 4:32 WEB). We pray that their hearts will be softened and that they will be filled with the love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding.
Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift up ### and his family. We thank You for bringing him home safely, and we ask for Your continued protection over him. Deliver him from his addictions and help him to turn away from them. Help him to see that he is hurting himself and others around him. We pray for unity and love among ### and his brothers, that their hearts would be softened and that they would forgive and love one another as You have loved us. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
