We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and the recent accident. We will be praying for you and the person who is being airlifted for neck surgery. Before we begin, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Firstly, let us address the issue of sin. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There is no one righteous, not even one. The wages of sin is death, but the gracious free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you are trusting Jesus, you will be saved. A person is made right with God not through the religious act of obeying the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
Please know there is hope and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. In Romans 10:13 WEB it says, For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Call upon Jesus, trust in him, and you will be saved.
Now, let us pray for the person who is being airlifted, and for you as well.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the person who is being airlifted for neck surgery. We pray for your healing touch upon their body, especially their neck. Guide the hands of the surgeons and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
We also lift up the one who submitted this request. Lord, we know they have recently lost their husband. We pray for your comfort and peace to surround them during this difficult time. We pray that they will cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. We ask that you provide for their every need and help them to trust in you. We pray for a new spouse in their life.
Lord, we also pray for their faith. We pray that they would trust you and not lean on their own understanding. We ask that they would acknowledge you in all their ways and that you would make their paths straight. We pray that they would not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Please know that we are here for you. We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also encourage you to overcome evil with good. We will be praying for you and the person who is having surgery.
If you have any other prayer requests or need further guidance, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help.
