Let's bring your concerns about your brother before the Lord in prayer. Before we begin we want to understand that cursing is a sin. We read in Ephesians 4:29 WEB, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother. We pray that You would convict his heart and help him to see that his words are not pleasing to You. Lord, help him to understand that his cursing is a sin against you, and to see the error of his ways. We also pray for our brother and his sister to be renewed and transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We also encourage you to consider how you can best show love and kindness to your brother. It is important to remember that we should not return rude behavior. Instead, we should bless those who curse us.
Further, we encourage you to go to your brother and discuss the situation with him. We read in Matthew 18:15 WEB, If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
Moreover, we encourage you to forgive your brother for his rude behavior towards you. We read in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you.
Finally, we pray together that you both will honor God in your relationship. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
