We understand how distressing it can be when your home, which should be a place of refuge and peace, is compromised by persistent leaks that threaten both your comfort and safety. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While you have done all you can in your own strength, this is a moment to trust in God’s provision and wisdom, for He cares deeply about even the practical needs of His children.
Yet we must also ask: in your request, there is no mention of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and receive mercy in our time of need. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true help and eternal hope. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without faith in Christ, even our prayers are empty—like offering strangers’ words to a holy God who longs for a relationship with you through His Son.
That said, let us lift this burden to the Lord together, asking for His intervention and protection over your home. We pray that He would provide the wisdom, resources, and help needed to resolve this leak permanently. May He guard your household from any danger, especially the electrical hazards you mentioned, and grant you peace as you wait on Him. Let us also pray that through this trial, your faith would be strengthened, and you would see God’s faithfulness in tangible ways.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this persistent trial with their leaking roof. Lord, You are the God who provides, who sees the needs of Your children before they even ask. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally in this situation—whether by sending the right person with the skills to fix it, by providing the financial means, or by stopping the leak in a way that only You can do. Protect this home from further damage, especially from the dangers of water near electricity. Give wisdom and discernment to know the next steps, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
Father, we also pray that if our brother/sister does not yet know You through Jesus Christ, that this trial would draw them to You. Open their heart to receive Your Son as their Lord and Savior, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Let them experience Your love, power, and provision in a way that leaves no doubt of Your goodness.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement in Jesus’ name, and we declare that You, Lord, are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in You alone. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, Amen.
