We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and grace. The Scriptures declare, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in invoking the name of Jesus is the foundation of all we bring before the Father, and we join you in lifting these requests to Him.
First, we address the matter of sexually transmitted infections and the consequences they have brought into your life. The Word of God is clear that sexual immorality—including fornication (sex outside of marriage) and adultery—is sin before Him. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Yet, the good news is that repentance and faith in Jesus Christ bring forgiveness and cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We urge you to repent sincerely before the Lord, turning away from any sexual sin, and to walk in purity, for your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Only then can you fully receive the healing and restoration God desires for you.
We pray earnestly for your healing from these infections and the bad odor they have caused. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. *"He forgives all your sins. He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies"* (Psalm 103:3-4, WEB). Father, we ask that You touch our brother’s body with Your healing power. Cleanse him from every infection, restore his health, and remove every physical and emotional remnant of these afflictions. Let his body be made whole, and let him walk in the freedom and dignity You intend for Your children. We rebuke every work of the enemy in his body and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
We also lift up your request for new clothes and shoes. Our Heavenly Father knows your needs, and He promises to provide for His children. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Father, we ask that You provide for our brother’s physical needs. Open doors for him to receive clothes and shoes that are decent and suitable. Let him experience Your provision in a way that strengthens his faith and testifies to Your goodness.
Regarding your desire to marry and have children, we affirm that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman for life. *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Marriage is honorable (Hebrews 13:4), and it is right to desire a godly spouse and family. However, we must emphasize that marriage is not something to be rushed into *"immediately,"* as you mentioned, but rather a decision to be made with wisdom, prayer, and alignment with God’s will. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). We pray that the Lord will prepare you to be a godly husband and father. Father, if it is Your will, bring a godly wife into our brother’s life—a woman who fears You and walks in Your ways. Let their union be founded on Christ, and let their home be a place of love, holiness, and blessing. Prepare him spiritually, emotionally, and financially for this responsibility, and let him wait on Your perfect timing.
We also pray for your protection against enemies. The battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Father, we ask that You surround our brother with Your hedge of protection. Frustrate the plans of the enemy against him, and let every scheme of darkness be exposed and defeated. Clothe him with Your armor—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that he may stand firm in every trial.
Lastly, we bring your request for a mobile phone before the Lord. While technology can be a tool for good, we encourage you to seek first the Kingdom of God and trust that He will provide what is necessary for His purposes. Father, if a mobile phone would serve Your will in our brother’s life—whether for ministry, work, or staying connected with believers—we ask that You provide it in Your way and time. Let him use it wisely and for Your glory.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his requests. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing for any sexual sin in his life. Wash him with the blood of Jesus and restore him to purity. Heal his body completely from every infection and its effects, and let him walk in divine health. Provide for his physical needs—clothes, shoes, and any other necessity—so that he may lack no good thing. Protect him from every enemy, seen and unseen, and let Your angels encamp around him.
Father, prepare him for marriage if it is Your will. Mold him into a man after Your own heart, and in Your perfect time, bring a godly wife into his life. Let their marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church, and let their home be filled with Your peace and joy. Grant him the desire of his heart for children, if it aligns with Your purpose, and let him raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
We also ask for wisdom in his request for a mobile phone. If it is Your will, provide it for him, and let him use it to honor You. Above all, Father, draw him closer to You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and let him walk in obedience to Your Word. Strengthen his faith, and let him trust in You alone for every need.
We rebuke every work of the enemy in his life—spiritual, physical, or emotional—and declare that Jesus is Lord over every circumstance. Let our brother experience Your breakthrough, Your provision, and Your peace. May he testify of Your goodness and live a life that glorifies You.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
