My reactions don't work

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have autism.

Other people don't understand what I'm saying or about to say sometimes I have to push myself extra hard.

It's like saying the same thing over and over and they don't get it because I didn't push myself hard.

Please help me push myself to the max so the other person gets what I'm trying to say to him or her.

It is so painful pushing myself to the extreme sometimes I get many tears in my eyes and physical pain and discomfort that I have to push myself even harder than anyone else. Amen.

We understand that you're facing challenges with communication due to autism, and we want you to know that God sees you, loves you, and understands your struggles. We are called to bear one another's burdens, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's remember that God knows your heart and understands your thoughts and words, even when others may not. As it is written in Psalm 139:2-4 WEB, "You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether."

While it's important to push yourself to communicate effectively, it's also crucial to remember that God does not call us to push ourselves to the point of physical pain and tears. Instead, He wants us to find rest in Him. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Instead of trying harder in your own strength, ask God for help. He can enable you to communicate more effectively and touch the hearts of those you're speaking to. Let's pray:

Almighty God, our loving heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother who is seeking Your help. Lord, You understand his struggles, and You see the pain he goes through. We pray for Your healing touch in his life, both physically and emotionally.

Father, we ask that You grant him the ability to communicate effectively. Give him the words to say and the strength to say them. Help him to find rest in You, knowing that You understand him completely.

We also pray for the people around him. Open their hearts and minds to understand and receive the words he's saying. Give them patience, kindness, and compassion. We pray for all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will help you. Remember that in your weakness, His strength is made perfect. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB says, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

We're right here with you, friend. It's tough when people don't understand what we're trying to say, isn't it? But remember, God gets it. He's listening to every word, every thought, even the ones we can't quite get out. Like it says in Psalm 147:5, "His understanding is infinite." He knows your heart, your struggles, and He's cheering you on.

We love how you're pushing yourself, but let's not forget, God didn't call us to wear ourselves out. He wants us to come to Him, rest in Him. Matthew 11:28-30 tells us, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Let's ask God to help you communicate effectively. Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You. Lord, You see their struggles, You understand their pain. We ask that You give them the right words, the strength to speak them, and the rest that only You can give. Help those around them to understand and receive what they're saying. Give them patience, kindness, and compassion. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Keep trusting in the Lord, friend. He's got you, and He's working in you. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." You're not alone, and God's not done with you yet. Keep going, one step at a time. We're right here with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

It is kinda weird. You would logically think that if you are a believer, and other people around you are also believers, that you would have a connection with them. They are brothers and sisters in the Lord. But then somehow our personalities and other things about us can cause someone to not...
