We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, petitioning our Lord Jesus Christ for His divine protection and healing. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection and healing over this family. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91, that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We pray that You, Lord, will cover this family with Your feathers, and under Your wings they will find refuge. Your faithfulness will be their shield and rampart. (Psalm 91:1-2 and 4 WEB)
We ask You, Lord, to increase their faith, that they may trust You more and more each day. Like the apostles before us, we pray, "Increase our faith." (Luke 17:5 WEB)
We rebuke any spirit of fear that may be attempting to gain a foothold in this family's life. We stand on Your Word, Lord, that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) We ask that You fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18 WEB)
We pray that You would deliver them from evil, Lord. According to Your Word, we do not want them to be ignorant of the devil's schemes. (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB) We pray that they would be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. We ask that You would help them to put on the whole armor of God, so that they may be able to stand against the devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB)
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We know that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB) We praise You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this family to continue praying together and standing firm in their faith. We remind them of the power of agreement in prayer, as Jesus said, "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB)
We also exhort them to put on the whole armor of God daily, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB)
