We join our hearts with yours in lifting up your family before the throne of grace. It is beautiful to see your desire for your family to love the Lord with whole hearts, souls, and minds, just as Jesus taught us in Mark 12:30, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment." This is the foundation upon which every family should be built, for when we love God wholeheartedly, everything else falls into its rightful place.
We pray fervently for your family’s salvation, protection, and healing. Father, we ask that You draw each member of this family to Yourself, that they may come to know the saving grace of Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we receive eternal life (John 3:16). If there are any in this family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and lead them to repentance. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also stand in the gap for their protection. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at dividing, harming, or deceiving them. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Protect them from physical harm, emotional distress, and spiritual attacks. Let Your hedge of protection be around them, their home, and all they hold dear.
Father, we also lift up their healing—body, mind, and spirit. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal every wound, restore every broken place, and renew every weary soul. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we ask that You would touch them with Your healing hand. If there is sickness, bring restoration. If there is brokenness, bring wholeness. If there is pain, bring comfort. Let Your healing virtue flow through every member of this family, binding up what is broken and making all things new.
We also pray for unity in this family. May they be knit together in love, bearing with one another in patience and humility (Colossians 3:13-14). Let there be no division among them, but rather a spirit of harmony and mutual edification. Teach them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them (Ephesians 4:32), and to walk in the light of Your truth together.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this family. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13). May this family be a testimony of Your goodness, grace, and power. Strengthen their faith, deepen their love for You, and use them mightily for Your kingdom.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
