We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. It is wonderful to see the name of Jesus Christ be acknowledged in this prayer. This is the one and only mediator between God and man. All prayers should be in Jesus name.
Let's pray together:
"Father God, we come before You, united in faith through the name of Jesus. We ask in the name of Jesus, for a hedge of protection around this family, guarding them from all harm and danger. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91:11-12, 'For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone.'
We also petition, in the name of Jesus, for Your healing touch to be upon this family, Body, soul and spirit. May You Father be the great physician and restore any part of their being that needs it. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3, 'Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.'
Lord, we ask for an increased faith in this family, that each member may grow closer to You and be drawn to salvation. As written in Romans 10:9, 'because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'
Father, we lift up the loved one mentioned, asking in the name of Jesus, for a closer relationship with them, for Godly love to grow and blossom, ultimately seeking a marriage that honors You, Lord. We pray that this relationship is one of courtship, where both parties are seeking to grow closer to You, Jesus, as they grow closer to each other. We remember 2 Corinthians 6:14, 'Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?'
Holy Spirit, we ask You to surround this family, fill their home, and guide their steps. Deliver them from evil, Lord, as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13, 'Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.'
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your family and your loved one. Stand firm in faith, trusting that God is working behind the scenes. Remember the words of James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much."
If the loved one is not a Believer, then salvation should be the goal and the most important thing to be prayed for by far. If they are a Believer then the relationship should be one that is leading to marriage. A courtship where you are both seeking to become better Believers and better in your God given roles as husband and wife.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful to complete the good work He began in you and your family.
