Heavenly Father,
I come before you today and I lay before you the hurt, pain, depression, sickness, anger, financial problems that so many of us are facing. There is so much going on with everyone that we are overwhelmed with it all.
Lord, I ask for myself and for every single person here that you take control of the situations that we are facing and breathe new life, energy and the will back into our souls.
Psalm 6
A psalm of David.
1: O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.
2: Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony.
3: My soul is in anguish. How long, O LORD, how long?
4: Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.
5: No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave ?
6: I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.
7: My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.
8: Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping.
9: The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer.
10: All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.
I say a prayer of hope, love and compassion for all of us, I know God's love is real, for if it wasn't he would have never sent his beloved son to die for us, so that we may have a chance to be with him in Heaven.
JOHN 3
16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17: For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
19: This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20: Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21: But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
