We lift up your old friend before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily in his life. Father, we pray that You would surround him with Your peace, protection, and provision. Bless the work he does for Your kingdom—his research and Bible studies—so that Your Word may go forth in power and truth. May his labor bear fruit for Your glory, and may he be strengthened in spirit as he serves You.
We also bring before You the tension that exists between him and your wife. Lord, we ask for a miracle of unity—not just between them, but in the hearts of all involved. Soften any hardness, heal past wounds, and replace strife with Your love. Help them to see one another through Your eyes, with grace and understanding. Where there has been misunderstanding or hurt, bring reconciliation. Where there has been division, bring restoration. Let Your Spirit move in such a way that what once caused friction now becomes an opportunity for growth and testimony of Your redeeming power.
We rebuke any spirit of discord, offense, or unforgiveness that may linger in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command peace to reign where there has been conflict. We declare that love will cover a multitude of sins, and that Your will for unity will prevail.
Father, we also pray for your marriage. Strengthen the bond between you and your wife, that you may stand together in faith, even when external relationships are difficult. Help you both to extend grace, just as Christ has extended grace to us. May your home be a place of peace, built on the foundation of Your Word.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God of miracles. We believe that what seems impossible with man is possible with You. Work in this situation for Your glory, and let Your name be praised in the outcome.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
