My ### not feeling well

We lift up your mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We also remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* says Yahweh. Your mother’s struggle with her lungs is not hidden from our Heavenly Father, who knows her every breath and cares deeply for her suffering.

Yet we must also ask: where is your trust placed in this moment? The request you’ve shared does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation come. It is only by His name that we have boldness to approach the throne of God, for Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We urge you to call upon the name of Jesus—not just as a formality, but as the foundation of your faith. Without Him, our prayers are empty, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

We also notice the symbols in your request, which obscure the clarity of your plea. When coming before the Lord, we are to approach Him with sincerity and reverence, not with distractions or unclear words. Let your requests be made known to God with honesty and simplicity, as Philippians 4:6 instructs: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."*

Now, let us pray together for your mother:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is struggling with sickness in her lungs. Lord, You are the God who breathes life into our bodies, and we ask that You would touch her with Your healing power. Restore her strength, clear her airways, and bring comfort to her weary body. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any sickness or disease in her body, for by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24).

Father, we also pray for this child who has brought this request before us. Open their eyes to the truth that salvation and healing come through Jesus alone. If they do not know Him as their Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and place their faith in Christ. Let them understand that apart from Him, there is no hope—no healing, no peace, no eternal life.

We commit this mother and her child into Your loving hands, trusting that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in this situation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting your mother up in prayer. We know that God is a healer, and we trust that He will touch her lungs and bring relief. Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for healing for this dear mother. Touch her lungs, Lord, and bring restoration to her body. Comfort her and give her Your peace. We trust that You are working all things together for her good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
