My Niece Tried to Kill Herself

My niece is 20 years old, a mother of 2 and her husband is serving in Iraq. Her mother (my sister) has tried to kill herself countless times and now she has also had a suicide attempt. She has been in the hospital for the last 4 days. She is Bi-Polar and her husband is very depressed in Iraq as well.

I am so upset that she has gone down this road as it has been extremely distructive and horrific with my sister. I get to the place that I can not go to the hospital any more or keep begging her not to kill herself. My sister is just angry that we have not let her end her life. We adopted my sister and she had a terrible childhood before we got her and she has never overcome it. I have taken her to get diagnosed and medication but she refuses to do her part and take the medications or to stay in any treatment program. We got her into a great program after much work and she walked away from it. Instead of getting help she just adds to the horror by her addictions and actions.

Anyway, I had hoped my niece would have a better shot at life than following my sister's footsteps. I am so grief stricken right now.

Heavenly father, i pray for these 2 hurting women plagued by wanting to commit suicide. I pray that you bring somebody into their lives. I pray that you give this family some peace. I pray for the husband that is in Iraq, having to deal with war, and his wifes suicide attempt. Lord, i pray give him strength, keep him strong> they all need you so much right now. I lift this family up to you Lord. You are the healer of this world. This family needs great healings. Only healing your can provide. In Jesus Name, amen

Lord, I pray you will intercede in this situation....ask your father for comfort in this situation, Lord Jesus, please comfort this family and I pray the hopeless sister can know that all she has to do is be still, and you will present yourself Jesus if she wants you to. Lord, the world we live in has so many pressures and turmoil, the result of our sins and those of others throughout ages. Thank you for your grace and the salvation available through you. Please open the eyes of these women to the love and beauty around them, the love eternal beyond their comprehension and a true source of comfort to those in need. Please be with Prayzon, it's so hard to watch those we care about make decisions so far from your will and love. Grant her peace of heart and show her your love in obvious and tangible ways. Father, I come to You in prayer for this young lady. Lord, I thank You for the gift of life that You have given us, and especially for that new life that we have when we submit ourselves to You. I pray for this woman to see how precious her life is, and the lives of her children. Father, I pray for Your Holy Spirit to lead her to Your throne, the throne of mercy, grace and repentence. May she see what life can be with You, and what eternity will be like with You. I pray for this spirit of suicide to be bound and cast from her. For her to look towards You and choose life, life with You. I ask that You would take this family in Your hands, breathe new life into their lungs, and they be given new hearts, that have been sown with Your seed and made ready for growth.
