My Next Steps

heavenly father, please guide my next steps in life. life has spiraled downward out of control. my wife left 9 weeks ago with the 2 smaller children, I was forced to put the house up for sale and it sold in 1 day (for a huge loss), my bank account is slowly withering away, my job is not going so well, the one daughter staying with me now is heartbroken, confused, and hurt. my older daughter and I are having to move back to my parents in another city, where she needs to start a new school and I need to commute to my horrible job. I know father that I still have it better than a lot of others. I am thankful for my health, my parents helping out, and my older daughter sticking with me. I am beginning to see this period in my life as either a punishment or a time apart from my wife to grow spiritually so we can reunite stronger than ever. I pray lord, that you be with my wife and help her raise the 2 small ones, help her make the right decisions and uphold our marriage vows and sanctity of our marriage. Watch over the little ones and protect them. I pray you be with my older daughter and help her get through this tough time. I pray lord that you help me, teach me, and mold me into the husband my wife needs to be and the father my kids need. I pray lord that you restore my marriage when you deem it to be the right time. Forgive me for my wrongdoings, mainly working too much and taking my family for granted. Please show my wife that divorce is not the answer and that with your help we can reconcile. Help me praise and worship you in this troubling time, help me to find my true purpose in life.

There is nothing too big for our God to accomplish, I pray that he bring your entire family back together and build it stronger than you could have ever imagined. With God all things are possible and I pray that he take charge of your job situation and provide you with a means of taking care of your loved ones. God bless you and restore your family that all may see that with him all things are possible.
