We rejoice with you in giving thanks to God for His goodness and we join you in praying for His favor and provision over you, your mom, your three children, your pets and your spouses, and we thank God that you are breathing and that your minds and hearts are being kept in His care. We hear your desire for joy, a vehicle, a new home and safety, and we bring these needs before the Lord together in Jesus name, for it is only through the blood of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is a good thing that you have called upon His name.
We want to lovingly correct and rebuke something in your prayer that does not align with scripture. You have declared that others must die first so that you and your family can escape safely. We understand the feeling of being opposed or blocked by those you call diverters of blessings, but God does not call us to pray for the death of our enemies. The Word tells us to love our enemies and to bless those who curse us. Matt 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Rom 12:19 says vengeance belongs to me, says the Lord. I will repay. And Prov 24:17 says do not rejoice when your enemy falls. God desires that even the wicked turn and live, as He says in Ezek 33:11, and we are called to overcome evil with good in Rom 12:21. So we must not loose curses or death upon others, even those we feel have hindered us, but instead we pray for God's justice, for their repentance, and for your protection and deliverance without wishing harm upon any person.
We also want to help you understand Deut 28:13 correctly. You quoted that you are the head and not the tail, and we claim that promise with you, but in context that promise is for those who listen diligently to the voice of the Lord and observe to do all His commandments. Deut 28:1-2 says it shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God's voice, to observe to do all his commandments, that all these blessings shall come on you and overtake you. The blessing of being the head and not the tail is not an incantation to be loosed as magic, but a result of walking in obedience, humility and faith in Christ. We are not in our own power, but Christ is our strength and our life. Acts 17:28 says for in him we live, and move, and have our being. And 2 Tim 1:7 says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We pray for your needs according to God's will and not merely our desires, remembering James 4:3 which says you ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. God does want to provide for His children. Phil 4:19 says my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matt 6:33 says seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. So we pray that God will provide the vehicle and the stable home you need in His timing and in a way that gives Him glory, and that He will keep you from having to live in secret or in fear.
We lift up your family before the Lord. We pray for your mom, for your three children that God would draw them to Himself and keep them in health and peace, and for your marriages and the marriages of your household that they would be strong, faithful, lifelong covenants between a man and a woman that honor Christ, as God designed marriage. We pray for your pets as part of your household that God has entrusted to your care. We ask for God's perfect peace over your minds and hearts. Phil 4:6-7 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Ps 91:1-2 says he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and by His blood. We thank You for this life You have given, for breath, for mind and heart, for family and for Your mercy each morning. We ask for Your favor that comes through walking with Christ, not for selfish gain but for Your glory. Provide for this dear one and their loved ones, a safe home, reliable transportation, daily bread and work for their hands, according to Your riches in glory. Cover them, their mom, their children, their spouses and their pets under Your wings and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Remove fear and the need to hide, and establish them in peace and security. Forgive us where we have wished harm on others, and teach us to love and pray for those who oppose us, trusting Your justice and Your mercy. Make this family the head and not the tail as they walk in obedience to Your voice, and let their lives bear witness to Your goodness. Guard their hearts from striving in their own power and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with love and self-control. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to dwell in the Word, to pray for those who have hurt you rather than cursing them, and to trust the Lord's provision. Jer 29:11 says for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Keep seeking Him first and He will direct your paths.
