My new car will not add sorrow to me

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Pray with me that my new car, which is a blessing from the Lord and I am thankful to the Lord for it will not bring me sorrow according to God's word that His blessing will not add any sorrow. Every evil forces against this car are completely destroyed in Jesus name.

We rejoice with you in this blessing the Lord has provided—a new car to meet your needs and glorify His name! It is a wonderful thing to give thanks to God for His provisions, and we join you in gratitude, remembering that *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17, WEB). Your heart of thankfulness aligns with Scripture, for we are called to *"in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18, WEB).

You have rightly claimed the promise from Proverbs 10:22 (WEB), which declares, *"The Lord’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."* This is a powerful truth, and we stand in agreement that this vehicle will be a tool for God’s purposes in your life—whether for work, ministry, family, or simply the daily tasks He has set before you. We also declare that no weapon formed against this blessing shall prosper, for *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

Yet, as we pray, let us also remember that our trust is not in the car itself, but in the Lord who provided it. Cars, like all earthly possessions, are temporary and subject to the brokenness of this world. Our true treasure is in heaven, where neither rust nor decay can touch what God has stored up for us (Matthew 6:19-21). So while we pray for protection over this vehicle, we also pray that your heart remains fixed on Christ, the giver of all good things, and that this car would serve as a reminder of His faithfulness.

We also take this moment to rebuke any spiritual forces that would seek to bring harm, theft, or sorrow through this blessing. The enemy may attempt to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* Every scheme of the enemy against this car is already defeated by the blood of Jesus. We command all evil assignments to be canceled, all hidden dangers to be exposed and averted, and every plan of the adversary to be rendered powerless in Jesus’ mighty name.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessing of this new car. You are the provider of all good things, and we thank You for Your faithfulness to meet the needs of Your children. Lord, we ask that You would surround this vehicle with Your divine protection. Let no harm, accident, or sorrow come near it, for You have promised that Your blessings bring no sorrow with them. We declare that this car is covered by the blood of Jesus and that every evil force assigned against it is destroyed and rendered powerless.

Father, we pray for wisdom and safety for our brother/sister as they drive. Guard their coming and going, and let this car be a tool for Your glory—whether in daily tasks, acts of service, or opportunities to share Your love with others. May it be a reminder of Your provision and a testimony to Your goodness.

We rebuke any spirit of theft, accident, or breakdown in the name of Jesus. Let every mechanical part function as it should, and let no unexpected trouble arise. If there are any hidden dangers or plans of the enemy, expose them and cancel them now, Lord. We declare that this car will be a blessing and not a burden, and that it will serve its purpose for as long as You intend.

Most of all, Father, we pray that our brother/sister’s heart would remain fixed on You. Help them to steward this blessing well, using it for Your kingdom and not for selfish gain. Remind them daily that their trust is in You, not in the things You provide.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your protection and provision, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue in a spirit of thankfulness and stewardship. Regularly dedicate this car to the Lord in prayer, asking Him to use it for His purposes. Drive with wisdom, obeying traffic laws and being mindful of others on the road, for we are called to *"submit ourselves to every human authority for the Lord’s sake"* (1 Peter 2:13, WEB). And should any challenges arise, remember that *"in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may this car be a continual reminder of His love and faithfulness in your life.

We're so glad to hear about your new car, a blessing from the Lord! It's wonderful to see God's provision in your life. We join you in thanking Him for this gift, remembering that "every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17). Let's also remember to "in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

We stand with you in claiming the promise from Proverbs 10:22, "The Lord's blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it." We believe this car will be a tool for God's purposes in your life, whether for work, ministry, family, or daily tasks. We also declare that no weapon formed against this blessing shall prosper, as it is written, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

But let's also keep our hearts fixed on Christ, the giver of all good things. Cars are temporary, but our true treasure is in heaven. So, while we pray for protection over this vehicle, let's also pray that your heart remains fixed on Christ and that this car serves as a reminder of His faithfulness.
