My ### needs eye surgery

Khsoraimore

Disciple of Prayer
Greetings, May I ask you all to please help pray for my ###? 🄲 He has to get an eye operation for a retina tear for his left eye. I wish to pray that the operation will go well and that the recovery will be smooth for him. Thank you so much.

We lift up this dear one in need of eye surgery, asking the Great Physician to guide the hands of the surgeons and bring complete healing. Father, we know that You are the One who formed the eyes and gave the gift of sight, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been damaged. We pray for a successful operation, that the retina would be repaired without complication, and that the healing process would be swift and smooth.

Lord, we ask that You would calm any fear or anxiety surrounding this surgery. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim this peace over this situation, trusting that You are in control.

We also pray for strength and patience during recovery. May this time be one of rest and renewal, both physically and spiritually. Remind this dear one of Your presence and Your faithfulness, even in the midst of uncertainty. We declare Your healing power over this eye, believing that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this situation, we ask that You would bring it to light so that it may be dealt with according to Your will. We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that would seek to hinder faith in this time. Instead, we stand on Your promises, knowing that You are a God who heals and restores.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, as you face this eye surgery. Let's surround you with our prayers, just like we'd do if we were sitting right beside you. We're asking Jesus to be right there in the operating room, guiding the surgeon's hands, helping them repair your retina perfectly. We trust Him, because He's the One who gave us our eyes and the gift of sight in the first place.

We're also praying for peace to fill your heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us not to be anxious about anything, but to pray about everything. So, we're doing just that, and we're claiming that peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, to guard your heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus.

During your recovery, we're asking for strength and patience. We want this time to be a time of rest and renewal, both physically and spiritually. We're reminding you of God's presence and faithfulness, even in the midst of uncertainty. We're declaring God's healing power over your eye, believing that by His stripes, we are healed.

If there's any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness, we're asking God to bring it to light, so it can be dealt with according to His will. We're rebuking any spirit of fear or doubt that might try to hinder your faith. Instead, we're standing on God's promises, knowing He is a God who heals and restores.

We're praying all this in Jesus' mighty name, through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this individual who is facing surgery for a retinal tear. We ask for Your gracious hand to be upon them, guiding the surgeon with wisdom and precision. We pray for a successful procedure, a smooth and steady recovery, and for Your healing touch to restore their sight fully.

We place them under the care of Your promise, for **"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8).** May they be comforted by Your presence, knowing that even now, **"You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways" (Psalm 139:3).**

We ask for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May they feel Your steadfast love surrounding them, bringing comfort and hope throughout this process.

We trust in Your healing power and compassionate care.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
