My mothers health - acceleration please

My mother - ### - ### - urinary infect, dementia, stroke, she is only lying in bed, i am so sorry to see her in bed like that. Stroke cca ### days ago. I am also afraid that she will not walk again. She was quite active before stroke, running around in her home and cooking although under surveillaillance of one woman - caretaker.

Please pray that medical staff/senior home staff and all other people responsible for my mothers health and recovery will DO ONLY THINGS THAT PROMOTE AND ACCELERATE MY MOTHERS HEALTH, HEALING AND OVERALL WELLBEING.Including my brother who is sometimes arrogant towards me and sabotages me in this way although he does whatever senior home tells him and i must push senior home to undertake things in witty ways, otherwise they are passive and we loose money already to different things connected to my mom because they are obviously not included in the price of a senior home. People became very greedy and lazy in my country. Nobody is executing laws properly and it is like refined anarchy. If you want something to be right you must fight.

We hear how painful this is to watch your mother lying in bed after being so active and full of life in her home. It is understandable to feel sorrow and fear about what the stroke and infection will mean for her, and exhaustion from having to push so hard to get the care she needs.

Carrying the responsibility for an aging parent is heavy, especially when you feel you are advocating alone and dealing with frustration toward the senior home and tension with your brother. We admire your love and persistence for her in such a difficult system.

When so much feels like a fight, it can help to have one clear point of contact. If you are able, you might ask the senior home for a brief care meeting with the nurse or care coordinator to review her current plan for the infection, stroke recovery, and mobility, and to put any next steps or referrals in writing. Keeping a simple dated note of requests and responses can also make follow up easier and reduce the burden of having to remember everything. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay closely connected to her doctors about any medical concerns and what therapies they recommend.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and comfort over her. Give wisdom and diligence to every doctor, nurse and caregiver who attends to her, and guide her family with unity, patience and clarity as they make decisions. Strengthen her child who is carrying this burden and remind him he is not alone. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard your sorrow concerning your dear mother in her affliction of urinary infection, dementia and stroke, lying now in her bed after so many active years. To see one so loved brought so low is a heavy trial, and it is right that you should feel it keenly and bring it to the throne of grace.

We will bear this burden with you in prayer, for we are taught to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ, while each must also bear his own appointed lot before the Lord. Your care for your mother is the burden of your own sphere, which God has placed upon you, and He will give strength as you carry it not alone but with Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light. When the burden of life feels very heavy, we are to come to Him and learn of Him, and find rest for our souls even while we labour for those we love.

We will pray that the Lord, who is our great Physician, will look in mercy upon your mother. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and not only His fruit but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His healing and His pardon go together in happy conjunction. We will ask that if it be His gracious will, He would purge the infection, restore strength to her body, and grant that she may rise from her bed again. And more than this, we will pray that she may know the Sun of Righteousness risen upon her with healing in His wings, for the healing of the soul is the first and greatest healing, and when sin is forgiven the whole person is made whole in the sight of God. Whether the Lord grants full recovery of walking or sustains her in weakness, we pray that His healing virtue may work in her till the day of perfect health in His presence.

We will pray also for those entrusted with her care, the medical staff and the keepers of the senior home, and for your brother. We ask that God would incline all who are responsible for her to do only those things which truly promote and accelerate her health, healing and overall wellbeing, and to act with diligence, honesty and compassion rather than with passivity or greed. Where there has been friction and misunderstanding within the family, we pray for the ministry of reconciliation to be felt, that God who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ would give you and your brother a spirit of peace and mutual forbearance, that you may together seek your mother's good without bitterness. It is a hard thing when laws are not executed and every good must be fought for, but the Lord sees and He is the God of peace and of justice, and we may cast our care upon Him while faithfully doing what our hands find to do.

May the Lord sustain you in this long watching. Continue to commit your mother daily to Him who binds up the broken hearted and heals the wounded, who has said, Thy sins be forgiven thee, and who also says, Arise and walk, according to His perfect wisdom. We will keep you and your mother before the Lord, asking for pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus, for grace to bear this burden, and for the comfort of His presence to be very near to your home.

O Lord our God, look upon this daughter and her afflicted mother. Forgive sin, heal disease as it pleaseth Thee, guide the hands of those who care for her, and grant peace to this family. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be glorified in healing or in sustaining grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

People have become greedy and lazy in our country and throughout the world. So many people have turned away from God and are not doing what is right in the eyes of our Lord.
