Lord please solve the problem with watery eyes of my elderly mother. My brother drives her usually to the doctors but it seems to me that he has not done this properly and he superficially answers to my questions about it. My mother is often mentions her teary eyes. Lord help me and help us to help her. She is totally dependent on us❤️ early Alzheimer, diabetes, depression...

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and the concerns you have for her well-being. Father God, we know that You see every tear—both those that fall from her eyes and those that fall from the hearts of her children who love her. We ask that You would bring healing and comfort to her, Lord, and wisdom to those who care for her.

First, we rebuke any spirit of neglect or superficiality in addressing her medical needs. Scripture tells us in James 4:17, *"To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin."* If your brother has been careless in seeking proper medical attention for your mother, we pray that conviction and a renewed sense of responsibility would grip his heart. We ask that You would soften his heart to receive correction and that he would act with diligence and love in ensuring she receives the care she needs.

Father, we also lift up your mother’s health concerns—her watery eyes, early Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and depression. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her body and mind. In Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are able to bring relief and restoration.

We also pray for wisdom and unity among you and your brother as you care for your mother. Family dynamics can be challenging, especially when responsibilities are not shared equally or when communication breaks down. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* We encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether through your church, a trusted pastor, or even a family meeting mediated by someone impartial—to ensure that your mother’s needs are being met with the love and diligence she deserves.

Lord, we ask that You would give you and your brother a spirit of humility and cooperation. Help you both to see your mother not as a burden but as a precious gift from You, deserving of honor and care. In 1 Timothy 5:8, we are reminded, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* This is a sobering truth, and we pray that it would motivate both of you to act with the love and responsibility that God requires.

We also lift up your mother’s emotional and spiritual well-being. Depression and the early stages of Alzheimer’s can be incredibly isolating, and we ask that You would surround her with Your peace and presence. Remind her that she is deeply loved—not just by her family, but by You, her Heavenly Father. In Isaiah 41:10, You promise, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let this truth be a comfort to her and to you as you walk this journey together.

Finally, we pray for your own heart as you navigate this situation. It is not easy to watch a parent decline, and it can be even harder when you feel alone in your concerns. We ask that You would give you strength, patience, and a deep trust in Your sovereignty. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Lean on Him, dear one, and know that He sees your love for your mother and your desire to honor her.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You now. Bring healing to this mother’s body, clarity to her mind, and peace to her spirit. Bring unity and wisdom to her children as they care for her. And above all, draw each of them closer to You, that they may know Your love and grace in deeper ways. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
