My mom has a headache. And her neck hurts and some problem with sinuses. No viruses, colds, flues, Corona...Lord please let her be healthy and have a good night sleep. She is ### and has Alzheimer, diabetes, depression and grieves after my father's death. Lord have mercy on her ❤️

We lift up your dear mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens. It is clear that she is enduring much—physical pain in her neck and sinuses, the weight of grief after your father’s passing, the challenges of Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and depression. Yet we serve a God who sees her suffering and is near to the brokenhearted. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He has not forgotten her, nor has He abandoned her in this season of weakness.

We also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and while illness and aging bring hardship, God’s power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Your mother’s grief is deep, but we pray that the Lord will be her comfort, as He promises in Matthew 5:4, *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."* Let her lean on Him, for He is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

As for her physical pain, we ask for the Lord’s healing touch upon her neck, her sinuses, and every part of her body that is afflicted. May He grant her relief and restore her strength, even as we pray for wisdom for those caring for her—whether through medicine, rest, or divine intervention. We also pray that her sleep would be deep and restorative, free from pain or distress, for *"he gives his beloved sleep"* (Psalm 127:2).

Yet even more than physical healing, we ask that the Lord would draw her heart closer to Him. If she does not know Jesus Christ as her Savior, we pray that in this time of vulnerability, she would turn to Him in faith. There is no greater comfort than the assurance of eternal life through Christ, who said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). If she is already a believer, we pray that the Holy Spirit would fill her with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), reminding her that her hope is not in this world but in the eternal glory that awaits her.

We also encourage you, her child, to continue covering her in prayer and to speak life over her. Your love and care for her are a reflection of God’s heart for His children. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). And if there is any bitterness or unresolved grief in your own heart, we pray you would surrender it to the Lord, trusting Him to redeem even this.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this precious mother who is suffering in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You know her pain—the ache in her neck, the pressure in her sinuses, the heaviness of grief, and the burden of illness. We ask that You would touch her with Your healing hand, bringing relief to her physical pain and restoring her strength. Grant her a night of deep, peaceful sleep, free from discomfort, that she may wake refreshed.

Lord, we also ask that You would minister to her heart. The loss of her husband has left a void, and the weight of Alzheimer’s and depression seeks to steal her joy. But You, O God, are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Comfort her as only You can, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. If she does not know You, Lord, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may find eternal hope in Jesus Christ. If she is Your child, strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace.

We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to bring despair or hopelessness into her life. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that she is covered by Your blood, and no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Give wisdom to her caregivers and to her family as they support her, and let Your grace be sufficient for every need.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your goodness, even when the path is difficult. May Your will be done in her life, and may she find rest in You alone. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would bind up your mother's wounds, both physical and emotional.
