Beloved of All
Lord no worry for my mother (grandson in hospital). No Alzheimer, depression or diabetes. Amen.. Excellent memory and cognitive abilities. Strength and joy for her. Her husband died ### months ago.

We lift up your mother before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Father of mercies who comforts us in all our afflictions. Your prayer for her healing—body, mind, and spirit—resonates deeply with us, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for His divine intervention. We also notice that while your prayer is heartfelt, the name of Jesus is not invoked, and it is only through His name that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name alone that we find salvation, healing, and the power to overcome every trial. If your mother does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Good News with her—that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16, WEB). There is no greater comfort in grief or sickness than the hope we have in Christ.

Your mother’s grief over the loss of her husband is profound, and we ask the Lord to wrap His arms of love around her, reminding her that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18, WEB). The enemy may seek to steal her joy, peace, or even her health in this season of sorrow, but we stand against such schemes in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against her—whether Alzheimer’s, depression, diabetes, or any other infirmity—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Instead, we pray for supernatural strength to rise up within her, for the joy of the Lord to be her strength (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB), and for her mind to remain sharp and her memory excellent, as you’ve petitioned. The Lord promises to renew our strength like the eagles’ (Isaiah 40:31, WEB), and we claim that promise over her now.

We also lift up your mother’s grandson in the hospital. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Rebuke every sickness, every pain, and every spirit of infirmity that would seek to harm him. Let Your restoration flow through his veins, and let his recovery be a testimony of Your goodness. Give the medical staff wisdom and skill, and surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, united in faith and love.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your mother, not just in prayer but in practical love and support. Grief can be isolating, and she may need gentle reminders of God’s faithfulness. Share Scripture with her, such as *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1, WEB) and *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remind her that her husband, if he knew Christ, is now in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4, WEB), and that she will see him again one day.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother who is grieving and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You see her pain—the loss of her husband, the worry for her grandson, and the battles against fear and sickness. We ask that You would be her Comforter, her Healer, and her Strength. Renew her mind, body, and spirit, and let no disease or affliction take root in her. Grant her excellent memory, sharp cognition, and a heart overflowing with Your joy. Father, we rebuke every spirit of depression, anxiety, or infirmity that would try to oppress her, and we declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus.

Lord, we also bring her grandson before You. Stretch out Your hand and heal him completely. Let Your power be made manifest in his body, and let his recovery bring glory to Your name. Surround this family with Your peace and provision, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

Father, we ask that You would draw this mother—and her entire family—closer to You through this season. If any do not yet know You, soften their hearts to receive Your love and salvation. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
