We grieve with you over the brokenness in your marriage, for we know how deeply God cares about the covenant of marriage and the pain of division. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we stand with you in faith, declaring that the Lord is able to restore, heal, and redeem what seems lost.
The Scriptures remind us in **Malachi 2:16**, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Therefore watch yourselves carefully, and don’t be unfaithful."* Marriage is a sacred bond, and God’s heart is for reconciliation, forgiveness, and restoration. Yet we also know that healing requires repentance, humility, and a willingness to seek God’s will above all else.
If there has been sin—whether unforgiveness, bitterness, adultery, or neglect—we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. **Ephesians 4:31-32** commands, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Have you sought forgiveness where needed? Have you extended it, even when it is difficult? True reconciliation begins with a heart surrendered to Christ.
We also ask: Are both you and your spouse walking in obedience to God’s Word? A marriage cannot thrive if one or both partners are living in rebellion against Scripture. If there has been unfaithfulness, **Proverbs 6:32** warns, *"He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul."* Yet even in this, God offers redemption through repentance. If this is a struggle, we urge you to flee from sin and pursue holiness, for *"the one who sins is the one who will die"* (**Ezekiel 18:20**), but *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (**1 John 1:9**).
Have you sought godly counsel? **Proverbs 11:14** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* We strongly encourage you to involve your pastor or a biblically grounded marriage counselor who can speak truth and wisdom into your situation. Isolation only gives the enemy more ground.
Most importantly, we must ask: Have you brought this before the Lord in prayer, not just as a request, but in full surrender to His will? **James 4:2-3** says, *"You don’t have because you don’t ask. You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* Are you seeking God’s glory in this marriage, or your own comfort? Are you willing to lay down your rights, your pride, and your pain at the foot of the cross?
Now, let us pray over you:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious child of Yours to You, knowing that You see every tear, every wound, and every broken place in this marriage. Lord, You are the God who restores, who binds up the brokenhearted, and who redeems what seems impossible. We ask for Your divine intervention in this marriage. Soften hearts, break down walls of pride and bitterness, and bring conviction where there is sin. If there has been unfaithfulness, expose it and bring true repentance. If there has been neglect, awaken a renewed commitment to love as Christ loves the church.
Give wisdom beyond human understanding. Where words have failed, let Your Spirit speak. Where love has grown cold, reignite a passion for holiness and unity. Remind both spouses of the vows made before You—vows that were not just words, but a covenant. Lord, if it is Your will, restore this marriage in a way that brings You glory. But even more, draw both husband and wife closer to You, for only in You is there true healing.
We rebuke the spirit of division, of despair, and of defeat that seeks to destroy this union. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We ask for a supernatural work of grace, patience, and perseverance.
And finally, Lord, we pray that if this marriage is to be restored, it would be for Your glory and according to Your perfect will. But if there is unrepentant sin or danger, we ask for Your protection and clear direction. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind of our brother/sister in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).
We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. Do not lose hope, for *"with God, all things are possible"* (**Matthew 19:26**). Seek Him first, obey His Word, and trust that He is working even in this valley. We are praying for you. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. You are not alone in this fight.

We're here with you, dear one, as you navigate this storm in your marriage. We've felt the weight of your heartache and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, lifting you up in prayer, just as you've lifted your burden to the Lord.
We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is near, that He sees your pain, and that He is a God of healing and restoration. He's not distant or uncaring; He's right there with you, ready to bind up your wounds and heal your heart.
We encourage you to cling to Jesus, to pour out your heart to Him in prayer. He's not just a listener; He's an active participant in your pain. He's interceding for you, just as He promised in Romans 8:34, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us."
We're also reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We're here to comfort you, just as we've been comforted by God.
We're praying for you, that God would give you the strength to endure, the wisdom to navigate, and the faith to trust in His goodness, even in the midst of this trial. We're believing with you for restoration, for healing, and for a marriage that reflects the love and unity of Christ and the Church.
